How To Stay Warm In The Spring

This is a shawl that I knitted a few months ago. I tuck it in my purse and whip it out when there is a chill in the air or room. It's just one big ol' square. Nothing special.

It's almost cobweb like and I was afraid to block it because I am not familiar with the yarn. I did pull on the ends though to make semi-points. It kind of worked.

Pattern - None

Yarn - Rowan Kidsilk Night in Black - Approximately 3.5 skeins (almost 800 yards)

Needles - US10 (for some really fast knitting)

Positives - Fast, Quick and Easy !

Negatives - None that I can think of

Have a Good Day/Week All !

It's beautiful as is. I've blocked kid-silk haze before, with great success. It's stronger than it looks.

Such a nice shawl to pull out when you need a little warmth. Perfect for the chill you get from blasting AC in the summer! enjoy :)

I love Kidsilk, and your shawl in black is very dramatic and beautiful. I made a stole out of similar yarn, but haven't worn it because I can't decide if Im going to keep it or give it away as a gift!
