Looking Forward to the Summer

The weather has been pretty fair to us here in Georgia.  Most days we are able to go out in shorts and short sleeves.  It's nice.  My roses have bloomed and this really gets me to thinking about starting on a summer top.  I usually make one every year and it's usually blue because I have so much blue yarn.  I plan on purchasing a very non-blue color this time around.  Here are just a few of the summer tops I have in mind.  Nothing fancy just plain and pretty.

Drops 128-27

Premiere Leaf by Melissa LaBarre

#19 Lace Top by Mori Tobita

Drops 138-3 Maribelle

In the mean time I'm still finishing up a few projects.  I have one cardigan that has been completed for months but I have not blocked it yet.  There are two more cardigans that need buttons and one needs a hem.  I have vowed to not start another project until the two cardi's have their buttons on.

Do You have a project(s) in mind for the summer ?

Talk to You later.  Enjoy Your Day !

All of those tops are pretty, but I think I favor the first one the most. Gorgeous.

Yes....I think there just might be a knit top in my summer plans too.

"Not Fancy ..." puh-leeze! They look great and perfect for summer!

I am planning on knitting the Rib-wise tank from Purlbee. We'll see if it turns out and if I can pull it off!
