1. I am a
knitter that is sometimes so excited after receiving new yarn that I will
accidentally throw the tag away. Months
later I will have no idea what the yarn is.
Example: I believe
this is a Koigu but don’t quote me on that.
and this. I have no
idea what this is but this is some really nice yarn.
2. My dpns
are not organized (this is normal I think) but every now and then I wonder why
I have so many that are similar in size and color. These are US 6, 7, 8’s but to find out
exactly what size each is there is a process.
Why do I add confusion to my present confusion and why do I keep grabbing the pink ones ?
4. I don't have big hands but I have long fingers. You know, the kind of fingers where everyone that sees your hand since You were a child says "You should play piano." Anyway, I have to always check the inches on my mittens and gloves. I usually have to make them a bit longer.
5. I hope I don't offend with number five from this list but that book The Friday Night Knitting Club that somehow made #1 on MY New York Times Bestseller List. I have no idea how that happened because I thought the writing was ghastly and I couldn't even make it through one-third of the book. I was cringing all the way.... There. I've said it.
Anyway, there's my little list for today. Hopefully I will have actual knitting to show on my next post.
Enjoy Your Weekend !

I thought Friday Night Knitting Club was kind of banal, but I have to admit ...the ending was a surprise.
Maybe that's why it is rated so high.
Have a great weekend.
I totally agree with you on #5! I loathed the ending...but I heard they are going to make a movie version starring Julia Roberts which should prove interesting. Julia actually knits, so that will be fun to see at least. Hope the gift knitting police doesn't track you down, but it is just sooo much more fun to knit for ourselves, isn't it?
I really got a good laugh from this post. I agree with all of your points. I have a lot of yarn so it wouldn't matter if I lost the tags. You are correct though. The book was pretty bad and Good Reads had terrible comments about it also.
I adore that little knitted policeman.
Funny about your #5 too, I haven't read it yet, and now I think I'll just skip it.
Happy knitting! Thanks for the visit :)
