Blue Birds In July

Hello Everyone !  We're at the end of July 2012.  Can you believe it ?  Time does fly.

I just wanted to show you one of my latest hat projects.  I'm sorry the photos aren't that good.  I just couldn't get the lighting or colors right.  In any case, I picked up the pattern from Ravelry.  This hat is designed by Audrey B. and it's called Bird's Eye (Rav link).

I've used a Cascade 220 in a cocoa color and the blue is Araucania in #46 blues.  I used a size 8 needle.  It's a lovely pattern.  I really wish I had time to make more.

Okay everyone, enjoy your day and the rest of July.  Talk to you soon !

What a wonderful hat. Don't you just love hats and socks. I think it's because they're so quick to make - instant gratification!

That is awesome! I almost wish I hadn't seen it because now I want to make one, too ... which means that'll be 7 projects on the needles now! Beautiful work!

Caroly that is a nice hat pattern. I like your color mix. Especially the cocoa and blue.
Maybe I should bring a hat project for my Portugal trip??

Carolyn,
I should have known you were still crafty.
You do good work, do you have a shop were you sale your knitting projects?
Do you still write stories as well? If so, I'd like to read some of your work.
