Ahhhhhh... That's Much Better !!!

Finally! These mittens done on #3 DPNs have been torn down, had missing charted rows put in and are now completed. Although they are not done in a natural fiber, I am pretty happy with the results.

Have you ever knitted a beautiful project for someone and despite your telling them that the item is 100% wool or silk or something else au natural, your giftee threw the item not only in the washer (with warm water) but the dryer as well?

In Any Case…

These are a gift for a friend’s granddaughter and I will probably make a hat to match. I will begin searching for patterns this weekend. Does anyone have any suggestions for a quick child’s hat?

In the past few months, I’ve become addicted to smaller projects and I may knit up a few more before beginning a significant project. What can I say? The in-between projects are just satisfying.

This weekend I plan go through print-outs and pattern books of spring/summer projects. Do you think it’s too soon?

I also have a plan to post some of those promised FO pictures by the middle of next week.

The mittens are down right adorable... I will check my patterns for a child's hat.

I love the mittens. One thing about small projects -the ripping out is not as painful (grin) No it's not too soon to think about spring knitting. It. will. be. here. soon.
