FO Friday

Another month another pair of socks. Is it me or doesn't the year seem to be moving fast ?  In less than 10 days April will be upon us.

My March Socks

A wild colorway coupled with a vanilla sock always makes sense.

 

The yarn is Studio Samples fingering. I'm gushing over the fact that I paid $1.00 for it !  I didn't use a pattern.  These were done on US 2s.

Question of the day.  What makes sock knitting so addictive ?  I can't figure it out but yes, I am addicted.  I'm making socks even when I don't want to !

Small Stuff #2

This weekend I shopped for bulbs.  The stores had great colors and selections but these black lilies were my favorite.  I hope they do well in my garden. 

I'm probably the only person on Ravelry that hadn't made this.  The Earbud Pouch made with Patons Kroy on US 2s.

Why does a 1x1 rib stress me out but the seed stitch seems relaxing ? Go figure.

February is Done !

I don't want to claim it too soon but I think I've got my Knitting Mojo back !  I'm feeling it.  The desire is there.  Yay !  This month I made a hat, a pincushion and socks.  Don't laugh but this a big deal for me.

I'm not saying I'll be making a pair of socks every month but I will certainly try. 🙄  There is no pattern for these just a two-by -two rib on a yarn that I won in a blog contest maybe 5 years ago.  The yarn is the discontinued Plymouth Yarn - Bungee.  It's actually a sport yarn so I worked these on US 3s.  I love the colorway (Fuschia) and the nubby texture of the yarn.  These were an enjoyable knit.

Can you believe that after talking about it a few posts ago I hadn't even posted this photo.  Here it is.  Bea' s Black Barley.
