Steampunk River Shawl

I purchased this yarn is by Fully Spun sometime last year and couldn't wait to use it but did not have a single project in mind.  It's a sock yarn of the thicker type.  If there were a type in between fingering and dk this would be it. It was far too pretty to wear on my feet so no socks for this yarn.  I would pull it out a few times a week trying to figure out what pattern would be good enough for this beauty.  A hat ? No. Gloves ? No. Maybe mittens. No.

The pattern is the Steampunk River shawl done on US 9s.  The colorway is Blue Hole.
