The Full Circle Cardi

The Full Circle Cardigan (Rav link).  What a beautiful yet simple pattern.  As soon as I saw it I fell for it and I would have really loved knitting it in a nice green yarn as Triona Murphy did but My stash has no green in it.  At least not enough to make a cardigan.  I didn't even bother hunting for another yarn color because my stash is over-flowing with blue and I need to start knitting away those blues.  It's my favorite color and never in my life did I think I would be tired of looking at it but yes, I am tired of looking at blue.

I started on Full Circle a couple of months ago but after trying it on I could see it was going to be a bit snug.  I hadn't gotten this far but the neck and shoulders were threatening to squeeze me.  Now this had nothing to do with the pattern but I'm a tight knitter.  Luckily I hadn't gotten too far.  I ripped her out and started again about week ago trying it on here and there and I think I have it !  I think it will fit (providing) that is don't gain weight.  Ha ha.

The yarn is Cascade 220 Heathers in Teal #9455

Otherwise, I looking at a few smaller projects and a couple of afghan patterns just in case I need to look at another yarn.  I wish I could knit straight through working on something like this but no, I have already planned to take a few breaks.

Anyway, enjoy the rest of Your week.  Talk to You soon !

So, here's the sad thing. I will probably not need to wear a sweater of any kind until mid-November. I really like the look of the Full Circle cardi though, and I think your blue is even better than the green they show it in.

Strange how we lean towards certain colours and then get sick of them as its all we see

The yarn is bright and very pretty. I took a look at the pattern. That is a lot of knitting.
