DROPS 142-17 for Mom

I love looking at all those Drops patterns.  They are so creative and pretty.  I saw this and thought okay, it's got lace and cables which is always a wonderful combination and I think my Mother might just be satisfied with it.  I haven't a clue which yarn this is.  It is 100% wool though.  The color is slightly off from the scarf I made her in October.  Don't compare the photos because the two greens don't look like they match at all.  I have enough of this to make a scarf I just don't have time. 

This is a wonderful pattern and I'd love to do it again.  Someday.  I've started a hat for my best friend in Michigan.  Hats, hats, hats, that's all I have time to do these days.  I just don't want to be a person that doesn't knit anymore.  I swear, even if I have to pull out some random sock and do a few rows a week I will. 

As you can see I just couldn't think of a post title so, there ya' go.

I've been doing fine. I've been working hard as usual and studying. It's amazing that I was able to make time to complete this hat but a true knitter always finds a way !
