Nothing Too Exciting...

Well, I have completed my mom's shawl except for the blocking of course. So now that makes three projects I have to block. My mom's shawl, the Multnomah and daughters green hat. If I didn't have this blog I think I would knit item after item and then block everything at the end of the year. I know, crazy. I do like the totally completed product but sometimes I just enjoy the fact that I've knitted until the bind off.

I have been putting in a lot of extra hours at work. I was taken to Atlanta on my birthday to eat out and shop but didn't do anything with my pals here in town. I know they were expecting to be invited over for a celebration but honestly I have not had time. I don't think I've had a get together in months.

My daughter surprised me on my job the other day. Look what she put on my desk. The cake was really yummy too.

What a good daughter you have! Happy belated birthday.

I'm with you about the knitting and blocking thing. I mostly enjoy the knitting process. Blocking and seaming, I could do without.
