Goodbye Knit Year 2009

Well, here we are saying farewell to 2009 and hello to 2010. I'm always amazed at just how quickly the year flies by as I'm sure you are.

I have much enjoyed this past year of knitting, blogging and communicating with all of my friends out in that never ending blog universe. I really appreciate your encouragement and kindness. Many of you supported me through my first full lace shawl project. Thanks again.

I was able to get in more fair isle projects (which I love). Hopefully, I will be able to do more next year.

There were a lot of small projects knitted which pumped up my holiday gift pile (I'm still proud of this accomplishment). Next year I again hope to knit more of what I need than what I desire.

One of my biggest accomplishments (though knit related) was not a knitted project. That was the overhaul of my Ravelry Project Page. This was very important to me and after accomplishing this task; I felt as though there was a huge load off my back.

This year I incorporated more stories from the past and present. Though I like my fan story, my favorite is this one. I want to do more story telling in 2010 along with more of my favorite recipes. This will continue to be a 'mostly knitting blog' though.

So, thanks to all of you for visiting my place, the nice compliments and comments. All of this feedback kept me going even through my terrible move from one place to another earlier this year.

Enjoy your celebration of the arrival of 2010. Stay safe and I will be speaking to all of you next year !

Sincerely,

Two Cables (Carolyn).

You are a great story teller and I enjoy reading them.
I had not read the ugly knitter story. I think you were very nice to this person. I know I would have told her never to tell someone they are doing something wrong. What is wrong is thinking you know the "right way".
I look forward to a new year of great stories.
I wish you and your family a Happy and Healthy New Year.
May you

I love stories on blogs. It doesn't always have to be about crafting, plus it gives us insight into the blogger, which is nice! See you on the other side.
