OMGosh, when did the Sunday NYTimes go up to $6.00 ???
Since I live on the outskirts of town these days, I've been picking up my NYTimes online here. Today I thought I'd pick up the actual paper because there's nothing like the NYTimes Sunday paper, and doing the Sunday crosswords by hand (not by keyboard). Well, I laid the Times down on the counter to pay and went into shock when I saw that the paper has gone up to $6.00. Wow !
and chocolate ain't what it use to be either...
Normally I'd go into the grocery store to purchase that large bar of Hersheys on sale for $1.00. Now it's a whopping $1.67. I hadn't done this in about three months. This put me into shock also. It was almost twice what I normally pay. I found this bit of information today. It explains why my big bar of Hersheys is no longer $1.00.
Seems I have been living under a rock for the past few months.

I had to stop having the Times delivered to my house because of the cost.
I've been under the same rock.
Someone shake some sense into me. I had not even noticed the price because this is a subscription that my husband pays for !
