My word is;
You see life as an amazing mix of possibilities, ideas, and fascinations.And sometimes you feel like you don't have enough time to take it all in.You love learning. Whether you're in school or not, you're probably immersed in several subjects right now.When you're not learning, you're busy reflecting. You think a lot about the people you know and the things you've experienced.
The quiz is quick and fun so, I took another one titled What Kind of Pancakes Are You ?
I am deemed to be Banana Nut Pancakes (although I would never make or order them).
You Are Banana Nut Pancakes
You Are Banana Nut Pancakes
You prefer complex and interesting foods.You shy away from anything that's ordinary or tired.It's not likely that someone would find white sandwich bread or boxed mac n' cheese in your kitchen.Instead, someone might find an original recipe of yours cooking up - or some interesting ethnic food.
So okay, just one more quiz which was titled; What Winter Hat Are You.
I am...
You Are a Newsboy
You are a quick thinking, forward looking, and even revolutionary person.You use fashion to project a powerful and chic image.You like to experiment with new ideas, looks, and even lifestyles.People may try to label you, but it's impossible. You draw inspiration from many subcultures.
Thanks Beate !!!
Now, A Bit of Knitting;
I've had this really pretty Lambs Pride Worsted (the color is mulberry) sitting in my stash for over a year. I pulled it out a couple of months ago and began a cardi based upon a photo of a gorgeous cardi (designer unknown to me, cardi name unknown to me).
Everything was working out pretty good until I realized that I would need another 3/4's of a skein to complete my project (also, one skein seemed to be a shade lighter than the rest. Yes ! They were all the same dye lot. Darn it ! Another knitting-boo-boo by Carolyn.
Oh well, I thought. At least I got my cable on for a bit.
See how pretty it was turning out !
After seeing how pretty my cardi could have been, I was determined to make something, anything other than a scarf, hat and mittens. I chose the Back-To-School-Vest from Fitted Knits.
Besides the pattern being really cute, no matter what size you make, the amount of yarn required is small. I am only using about 600 yards. It's an easy pattern with instructions for flat knitting or circular (I chose circular). I scanned almost all 600+ FO's/Projects on Ravelry and love how this vest really accents all sizes and shapes. This is really important for me. I will only say that the vest is making my waist look like a waist.
My vest is about one armband from being completed. I will be posting photos very soon.

I love that vest pattern; it looks great in that color!
The vest is coming along nicely and will pair fabulously with a button-up/pencil skirt or slacks.
The vest is looking really good.... To bad about the Cardi maybe you can find another set of yarn which really wants to be a Cardigan, this one just wanted to be a vest.
Nice fusion of color and the design and pattern. Very creative. I'll try not to be lazy and make one.
