Happy New Year to All !!!

2009, can you believe it ?

I didn't write down any resolutions for the new year. I just have a few thoughts that I plan to make REAL this year.

My family and friends are doing just fine. I gave some really nice gifts and made a few folks happy. I also received some unexpected and wonderful gifts myself. The holidays were calm and happy.

As far as blogging is concerned, well, I'm almost back. I'm working on getting revved up for my blog world again. I did actually make mini-list of subjects I'd like to discuss with my knit-buddies for the beginning of the year. Some of the subjects are pure whimsy and a few of them are thoughtful, serious and I am hoping to get a lot of feedback and advice from you guys.

I've knitted up a storm over the past couple of weeks. My projects have been mostly smaller items like hats and cowls. I'm hoping to burn my entire 2007 and 2008 stash by the end of this year. I will be posting pictures in my next post.

I was knitting up my Noro beanie the other day and thought something about it looked familiar when I turned it upside down. Immediately, the hat reminded me of a vacation I took a few years ago.

See...

Does this look familiar to you ???

Now do you see ???

Talk to you all later !!!

That is ironic! It is amazing how much of our lives gets integrated into our knitting. I am glad to see you getting back into the blogging thing. Sometimes we all need to take a break...life and all that.

Me - I am so happy to see you back Carolyn. What's that lovely pink bit of knitting at the top of your blog? I'll have to check out Ravelry to see what you've made.

Lucky you knitting with noro...something I'd like to do someday! Love the colorway. You'll always remember your vacation when you wear that hat...a nice souvenir :)
