The other day I took a break from my Freyja sweater to work on the Diamond Rain Vest, now I'm taking a break from the Diamond Rain to work on these slippers.
The slippers are the Plain-or-Flowery-Slippers by Sara M. Hughes (Rav link). As you can see, I've used Noro Kureyon color #102 which is mostly bright, shocking pinks and oranges with a tinge of blue-purple thrown in. I have about four skeins or more of this color that I purchased last year. I wonder what I had in mind at that time.
The pattern has an optional flower that can be added. It's one of the nicer knitted ones that I've seen. It's not at the level of a Nicky Epstein flower but it is very nice. One day I may make another pair and I will add the flower. Since Kureyon puts on it's own show, it doesn't need any adornments. So, flowerless it is.
Both pairs of my house shoes have wedge heels of about 1.5 inches. I have really high arches and seldom if ever wear flat shoes. These are comfortable and I've been wearing them as bed shoes mostly. It's almost like being barefoot.
This pattern makes a wonderful stash buster.

I love these slippers. I've added them to my "to knit" list.
Uh oh...they look dangerously addictive!
Beautiful slippers.
I love the new blog look.
You just convinced me to change mine up soon since there's the new design feature. :-)
Those are soo cute I will have to make a pair! Do you have to use Noro or will other yarns work?
These slippers look great for summer. When I take some time away from baby knits I'll start a pair.
Ooh, those are gorgeous! And the pattern looks like they are well-fitting slippers. Must go see if I can find the pattern!
