A Bit of Happiness

I must say Son and Daughter-in-law are giving my little Grands a lovely life.  Since the birth of my first grand in 2016 I've been sent photos, updates and videos sometimes daily and for sure weekly.  Though they live across the United States they have brought great joy to me.  I adore them.  My Son works a lot of hours but as soon as he gets home he is reading to them.  Most mornings before he wakes the Grands spend time on the sofa going through their favorite books.  So cute !  It's like a book club for toddlers.

These babies will be turning 1, 2, 3 and 4 this year

Their home has acreage so my Grands love all nature.  There are horse farms down the road.

The Daughter-in-law says she may start them with gardening this year.  So cute when kiddies garden.

These flowers were from my Son and Daughter-in-law when I was in hospital.  When I left I donated them.

Enjoy Your Weekend Everyone !

Finally February ! - Short Post

I don't have much to show in the way of projects for January but I did get a lot of knitting done.  I worked on large sweater pieces, the bulk of a shawl which was all garter, a bit of cable on socks and a few other things.  I hope I can have some of those posted this month.

These baby socks took just over a day to make.  I could have had them done in a day but my regular life for in the way.  The socks are for my newest grandson.

These are for the very sweet receptionist in my doctor's office.  The yarn is Lion Brand's Sockease in the colorway Toffee.  They were done on US 2s.

Have a Great Week !

Easter !

How was yours ?  Mines was easy as Sunday morning.  I was invited to a couple of homes but chose to take it slow and rested.  My son and daughter-in-law called and sent these adorable photos of my grands.

This is Elisia who will be three this year and Josiah who will be turning two.

Baby Maya will be one this year.
