My Nubby Aqua

I finally took a bit of time to block my Acadian shawl (Rav link). I really like this one and plan to keep it for myself. I loved working with this yarn but would not purchase anymore because the small percentage of acrylic and nylon caused the ends to curl. The curling is not the bad kind though. You've probably seen when a garments ends curl like a tootsie roll. It's not like that, it curls here and there and also ruffles a bit. It may be hard to imagine but it is a curl that complements.

See how the end of the shawl is kind of wavy. I like that.

The other thing I really like about the pattern is how easy it is to lengthen it. The yarn helped with the length also stretching far more than expected after blocking.

Pattern: Acadian Shawl

Yarn: Stellina

Needle Size: US 9

Rating: Easy Peasy

Positives: Easy pattern to remember, mindless knitting, relatively quick to complete.

Negatives: None

Well, on to more knitting !

Enjoy your day all !

Oh gosh, that is really beautiful. I especially like the color. It seems just the right color blue to go with so many other colors. I'm going to have a look at that pattern!

That is just lovely- so simple, but it complements the yarn beautifully.
