Three Things

I had a really good weekend and started this pattern The Birthday Cake Cowl (Rav link) on Sunday and completed it the same day. I love the cowl and so far it is mine ! I’m claiming it and have no plan to give it away. On my Rav project page I have named it No One Is Talking Me Out Of This Cowl !

Pattern: The Birthday Cake Cowl
Yarn: Noro Taiyo
Color: I don’t know. I have misplaced the tag
Needles: 10.5 Dpns

The Second Thing

I am in the process of moving across town. I had the plan this year to post a minimum of twice a week but that will have to hold off for a month or so. I love visiting and commenting on blogs so if I miss a post or two or more, I’m just crazy busy getting things together. You and your blogs are never forgotten.

The Third Thing

Most prizes have been sent out. I am mailing the few remaining prizes either today or tomorrow morning.
Just keeping everyone informed.

Toodles !!!

Every good knitter deserves to keep a project for themself. Initially when I read your blog that you are moving across town, I thought you were referring to wordpress....giggling.

I definitely think you should keep the cowl. I've gotta get that pattern on my queue.

Good luck with moving! It is one of my least favorite things to do -- although it does help me get rid of stuff!

Love the cowl! I must check out the pattern. The Noro sets it off beautifully. Best of luck with the move, I've moved house 3 times since I got married and I know how stressful it can be! Make sure to catch a breath every so often!

Great cowl. I especially like the look in the lat pic. The colors are wonderful too. I don't remember seeing those "earthy" tones before in Noro yarn.
