Nothing Too Exciting...

Forgive my writing, I'm just a bit tired. Tired but fine.

A couple of weeks ago I talked about this aqua wool yarn that I planned knitting into another shawl. While packing I found a skein with a label and to my surprise it is a Joann Sensations yarn called Stellina. It is a discontinued yarn and I really don't remember purchasing it. I only know that I've had it forever.

I've chosen the Acadian Shawl pattern and started on it about 5:30 this morning while watching reruns of Grey's Anatomy on Hulu TV. That's right, I'm a real early bird.

As you can see the yarn has a nice nubby texture to it. It knits up nicely too.

So as the post title says, nothing too exciting is going on these days. I'm holding my sanity together as I pack things up. I should have everything moved within two weeks.

Here is a photo of my new little kitchen.

For my first get-together I want to see how my friends will maneuver hovering over the stove and me in this spot. I think they will be forced to stay in the dining room, the porch or living room while I do my thing.

I actually have a master bedroom but I've chosen this one for myself based on the closet. The closet reaches from one end of the wall to the other. Of course this is what I need as an excuse to purchase more clothes, shoes and yarn. -- The other bedroom will be an office/guest room.
I really don't mind crossing the hall to use the bathroom. I can do without the bathroom in my bedroom. I think.
Moving for me is much less stressful if I have a good amount of time to do it. I like at least three weeks to move.
Well, I'm off to take another load across town. Enjoy your weekend !

Good luck in your move. I personally HATE moving, but it sounds like you've got it together. I'd go for the big closet too!

Loving the look of the shawl so far, that yarn looks lovely. And woah, those are some fabulous wardrobes! I'd have them stuffed full with yarn in no time. Best of luck with the move!

Good luck with your move. Your new place looks wonderful. Won't you be happy once you are all settled in and the move is over? :)

You have such a zen attitude about moving! I wish I could be so calm. I'm usually a panicked mess about it! Good luck with the rest of the move!
