I made this pie yesterday and it was eaten up yesterday.
What I change in the recipe;
Sometimes I will add a bit of allspice. I don't add the entire can of condensed milk because I want my pie to taste more pumpkin like. Most times I will add only 1/2 of the condensed milk but you should tweak this to your liking.
A Few Of My Tips:
I usually put aluminum foil around the edges to keep them from getting too brown and dry. I tear a strip like so then fold it in half.

It took four strips to surround the entire pie.
This does work and it works better than the pre-coiled foil sold in stores. I have found them to be loose fitting.
Knitting...
I purchased this dk wool yarn about three years ago. I think it's from Joann Fabric. I'm looking at scarf and shawl patterns to suit the color and texture. It's really pretty, very soft. -- When I find out which yarn it is and what pattern I'm going to use I will let everyone know.
Okay, that's it for the knitting portion.
Enjoy your day !

Pretty pie. Pretty yarn. I love pumpkin pie.
I like the new look of your blog. I may try that recipe.
I don't know why people think pumpkin pie is only for Thanksgiving or the fall--I love it all year long!
Oh my, oh my, it's Pumpkin pie! I love this pie. Whenever I go to the states, I always sneak a few tins of Libbys pumpkin pie into the suitcase. It's something that just cannot be got here and I love it!
Aw, your pie looks soooo delicious!
That does look like an easy recipe...not very many ingredients :) Yum!
