A Painted Shawl

Here are photos of my mother's shawl knit from the Claudia Hand Painted Boucle. Too bad my camera cannot capture just how beautiful it came out.

I was really nervous about the blocking thinking that most of the color would run out. The color loss was minimal.

On my Ravelry project page, I changed the name from Mom's Birthday Shawl to Mom's Painted Desert Shawl.

You can see why.

Beautiful shawl. I didn't even know that Claudia had boucle. The colors do remind me of the desert. They're perfect.

Perfect name for the shawl, it's absolutely gorgeous!
If the camera didn't catch its beauty, can't imagine what it must look like in person.
