Mom's Matching Hat

So, after sweating over hat patterns for my mother the past couple of months, I think I've got a winner. I think she will love it.

The pattern is the Ruched Slouch Beanie by Mary Shaw. I really like the pattern. As you can see, it's an easy-peasy.

My gauge is normally a tight one but this hat actually came out a little big. Not so big that it can't be utilized though. As it happens, my mom has a lot of hair and the hat pulls down comfortably over the ears. This is perfect for those cold Michigan winters.

Here is my daughter modeling my projects again. We love that the hat color goes so well with the shawlette.

Happy Knitting everyone !!!
