Back to Normal, Back to Knitting

My family matters have settled quite a bit. I’m feeling more comfortable, not stressing as much. I think I’m back, I’d like to be back (to blogging). In any case, I’m posting today.

Over the past few weeks, I have picked up wips here and there working on them a little then putting them down. I must have done this over ten times with not much work to show for. My concentration is working it’s way back. I hope to be operating on a full tank pretty soon.

What usually works to bring me up to speed is to work on small projects. I looked at hat patterns but turned away because I know that if I begin one hat my hat knitting will lead into another six or more. I’ll stay away from that addiction for now.

A couple of nights ago I began working on this cute little Cable Baby Vest by Julia Kroyan (rav link). I’m using a Noro Silk Garden. Since I removed the labels long ago and wound the skeins, I have no idea which color number it is.
The colors are pretty primary though. It goes from rust to citrus colors to greens and blues. No purple though. I chose to use the rust/citrus colors for the back of the vest. The blues will be used for the front. This pattern is a quick and easy-peasy one.
It’s a start to get me back into the swing of things.

Thank you for visiting my blog & your lovely comment. I am not a fan of pooling so I usually buy semi solid yarn.
