Just Call Me The Harried Knitter

I've been driving back and forth from my town to past Atlanta helping my family out quite a lot in the past week or so. I will admit that I am tired. Not too stressed, just tired and wishing that either I lived closer to them or that they lived closer to me. Seventy miles to Atlanta or Eighty Five miles or so to my dad's home does not sound like a lot but after doing it a couple of days in a row or twice in one day or even a few times a week, it has made me feel as though I'm exhausted.

It's funny what we give priority to when running out of the door...

I left my laptop cord and flashdrive over my dad's house one evening. I had my knitting though. It's been traveling with me everywhere because a knitter never knows when they will be able to sneak in a row or two or ten.

I've been working on another pair of mittens. These are for Valentine's Day and the pattern is really cute. I'm posting this away from home right now and don't have the pattern print-out with me. I must have the pattern name wrong because I thought the name was something like Sweet Heart or Heart Mittens. I searched Ravelry and was not successful in finding it. Well, when I do my final post, I'll have the pattern for you.

Again, please forgive my terrible picture taking (this was also taken just before I went out the door) and it's a sideways photo to boot. I hope to complete them by the end of this week.

Talk to you later, I gotta take a nap.

Good thing you didn't forget your knitting :) I'd be miserable if I didn't have mine. Your valentine pattern looks oh so interesting...waiting to see and hear more about it!

happy knitting :)

When I leave the house without my knitting I feel lost!

Sometimes I leave the house with the knitting but forget an important tool necessary for it.

Take some time to relax.

Whenever I am stuck somewhere and I can knit to help pass the time I pity anyone who doesn't knit :)
