Contemplation...

Restlessness has taken over my knitting for the past few days. I did complete my heart mittens. Now if I could just weave in those little ends and block them. I've told myself that my reward will be posted photos and a bit of gloating over the mitts when and only when I complete them. Alas, these days I just don't care.
The restlessness and lack of 'hot for knitting' does not feel like Mr. Mojo has crept upon me. I don't know what it is. -- I will confess something though, I picked up the startitis bug and have about three projects on needles. There is no significant amount of knitting with these projects. It started out hot and heavy and has simmered down to a whimper. Sigh.

The Yarn above is Universal Yarn Ditto (which is now discontinued ? When did that happen)? Anyway, I love it and I'm contemplating on making a shawl. I have to figure out which shawl. It will be pretty simple, that's for sure. This yarn is vibrant and striping so the pattern will not have to work to show off the yarn.

More to Contemplate...

You've probably come across this sweater/vest thingy in the past Interweave Knits 2009 Fall magazine. It's called the Scoop Pullover by Cathy Carron. I just love it and will be going through my stash this week to see if I have anything suitable for this wonderful pattern.

Snow In Georgia

We had a snow storm here in Georgia the other day. It wasn't too bad. While driving, I did slide a few times but kept my cool. The snow was here Friday, there was no freezing of snow overnight, the sun was melting the snow away by 11am Saturday morning. Happy ending, Yeah !!!

Okay all, I'm out of here.
I just may post some actual knitting in my next post !

The yarn for the shawl is pretty and agree the striping in the yarn will speak for itself. That is such a pretty pullover and the horizontal lines against the vertical lines lends to great shaping.

What Sheila said. And I am glad no fender-bender for you in the snow.

Ahh the ebs and flows of knitting. I totally know what you mean. The pullover is lovely, hope you find some yarn to knit it up :)

I wish I only had 3 UFO's (sigh). Can't wait to see the mitts. That sweater pattern is really gorgeous and I'm anxious to see what colorway yu will select.

You have to finish weaving in those ends so we can see the finished pair!!

I know I'm getting pretty tired of the big blanket knitting and find myself getting distracted easily. I'm forcing myself to finish and not start another project other than a quick knit, but it's hard....happy knitting :)
