Another One for The Neglected Pattern Challenge

Happy Sunday to Everyone !

There is a small amount of knitting going on with me these days which I plan to show later on this week. For now I'm showcasing the hat I recently made for my pal Matt.

It's Smariek's Utopia Hat done in Lion Brand Wool Ease. It's the perfect yarn for a university student seeing as it is machine washable and dryable. I followed the exact instructions on this one but when Matt put it on I thought it was a little short. He doesn't have the larger than normal noggin just really thick and curly hair. I hadn't even remembered that as I was making his hat.

I offered to take it back to add more rows at the top so it will cover his earlobes more. Guess what ! He really, really likes the hat and refuses to hand it over.

Okay Matt !
(isn't he a cutie-patootie!)
