Back Home With The Children

Now that I’m back home to stay for a while I can commit more time to my Tempo Vest. Sometimes I feel as though my knitting controls me instead of my controlling the knitting. When I laid Tempo down over a week ago to travel and work longer hours, I actually felt guilty, as though I was neglecting a child. I suspected that my Gathered Scarf was secretly smirking as it was always with me, being continued and completed while poor little Tempo sat next to my magazines in a basket waiting.

I picked up Tempo a couple of days ago and will be shaping the armholes soon. I could have made two of these by now but things got in the way. Oh, that’s another thing, why do I always feel like I have to knit up a project quickly? I tell you, the knitting is controlling me.

I hope to have FO Photos of my Tempo very soon but now I must get back to my neglected child.

LOL! How funny that you compare a project laid aside to neglected children! I sometimes feel like that too...

The vest is beautiful. I often feel the way you do. I am 95% done on a scarf and started another that is almost 100% done. If you don't have a lot of UFO's, don't feel guilty.

Go head Knitting Diva! Everything looks great and yes some projects do make you feel guilty or make you feel like your cheating.
