No, No Picot.

In the last couple of days I have completed the edging to my sweater. Thrice. I first did the picot edging just like the pattern instructed and then I ripped it out. It looks very nice on Ms. Quiggle's sweater and the other ravelers. I will be doing something different.

I mean, it looked fine, just not for me. I've had to admit to myself that I'm being a bit anal about the edging. There's something about the sweater being done in almost all straight stitch and then ending with a few rows of garter stitch, then picot that is not sitting well with me. I even redid it with a smaller needle and no, not for me.

No garter stitch and picot edging for me.

I have another edging in mind that I'm going to try tomorrow. I want it to be as understated as possible. So, for now, my sweater completed except for the edging.

As you can see, this is the underside of the sweater. I just love flipping a sweater open to see the inside like this. Hats too.

Woah, the inside of your sweater looks nicer than the outside of some sweaters!

I can't wait to see it too. Looks like you picked some great colors to go with the brown!
