Here are a pair of my favorite shoes. Yup, that's right, they are a blue/black/aqua reptile print. Anyways, I plan on making some type of shawl or scarf thingy to go with them. I just haven't figured out how to put (knit) this all together. The majority of the yarn is the dk wool in aqua (I've about 600+ yards of that one). I may do one of those long scarves with a few strips here and there of the fun yarns. You know, those scarves where you cast on about 1,000 stitches and knit until the end of the year.
I'm open to ALL suggestions !!!

Did you change the background color on your blog? Something's different and I can't quite put my finger on it. Whatever it is, I like it.

I love those shoes..wow great taste.
I did alot og those shawls mixing different yarns and colours.. I always found it best if I did doble strings- and keep one string/yarn the same all the way through- and I always chose one more basic"boring"yarn for that , so that I dont "steal" the greatness of the others..

Those are beautiful shoes. I think your instinct is right: a simple scarf with stripes of the fun yarn. You might think about knitting it lengthwise...that would be really an interesting presentation.
