For the holiday, one of the gifts I received from him is a vintage pair of Coach shoes (circa 2003-04). They haven't a scuff on them, have never been worn. The only thing I know is that they were purchased at some upscale resale in Buckhead. I suspect his bestfriends wife helped him. They are a size 10 and fit perfectly. What can I say, these baby's are sweeeeeeeet ! I love them !!!
My Aunt Velma in Atlanta is a retired lady with an active social life. She visits with a group of retirees four times a week to socialize and participate in various activities. Now there are many activities to choose from, she even considered knitting. She decided on painting with oil instead.
This is a picture she painted in the early part of 2007.
She actually has a stack of them behind a chair in the dining room. Every time I visited, I would joke with her that this was a painting of me in the olden days. This would crack her up.
To my surprise, this was her gift to me. A very, very special gift. Brings tears to my eyes when I think of it.

Corny but true.

Wow, you moved to Georgia and have met someone already! My coworker has those shoes in black and has worn them out. She wears them with jeans. Your aunts painting is lively and vibrant.
tell aunt velma that I volunteer to be her agent!
