I found this Noro Silk Garden in my scrap box yesterday. It will make the perfect Valentine's Day project. I'm not sure what I'm making yet but it will definitely have a heart or two in it. Speaking of hearts I tried out two different patterns and had no luck. The patterns are not complicated it's me. Every now and then my knitting is off. I usually wait a day or so and try it again with success. Knitting on Saturday is the norm and a must so I had to create my own heart pattern. Guess what ? It worked and I'm pleased.
I've made a small Goodreads goal of fitting eight books into my year. I'll be online reading reviews and purchasing throughout the day. One purchase I made today was Stephen Kings book The Outsider. It was listed as the top fiction read for 2018 on Goodreads. I haven't read King in a while (over a decade). Has anyone else read this ?
I'm thinking of making a casserole tonight. I've a taste for tomato sauce and crunchy veggies. We'll see what I can come up with.
Enjoy your weekend.

Thank You!
my reading has been so slow. I keep trying to read when I'm free but then I get distracted by my knitting :) Once I finish the George Washington biography that is huge, I think I'll be able to read more books. Lovely yarns you are working with and how fun it's for Valentine's day!
Hi there,
Just found your blog. So happy! Same here on the heart patterns. Not sure if I'm going to make the cut unless I can whip up one or two after work over the next day or two. (its not looking good). I did make a heart paper garland to go over my front and back doors. Off to go find you on Ravelry. Hope your week is going well.
